THE DIRECTOR 

 

Given law n. 508 of December 21st, 1999 concerning the ‘Reform of the Academies of Fine Arts, 
the National Academy of Dance, the National Academy of Dramatic Art, the Higher 
Institutes for Artistic Industries, the Music Conservatories and the Equalised Musical 
Institutes; 

Given Decree of the President of the Republic n. 132 of February 28th, 2003 concerning the 
‘Regulation containing the criteria for the statutory, regulatory and organisational autonomy 
of artistic and musical institutions, pursuant to law n. 508 of December 21st, 1999; 

Given art. 20, paragraph 2, of the Statuto del Conservatorio; 

Given Regolamento Generale (Election, Appointment and Operation of Statutory Bodies, Use of 
Classrooms and Instruments Lending), in particular articles 32-40 and 91-109, issued by 
Decree of the President of the Conservatorio di Musica of March 19th, 2021 prot. n. 
1165/G1a of March 3rd, 2021; 

Noted the expiration of the current Student Council; 

Considered that the next elections of the Students’ Council would be held for the three-year 
academic period 2024-2027; 

Considered that on May 27th, 2024 the Director called, by his own Decree n. 124 (prot. n. 3019, 
same date), for the second time the elections for the constitution of the Students' Council of 
the Conservatorio di Musica di Vicenza “Arrigo Pedrollo” for the three-year academic 
period 2024-2027, valid also for the last months of the academic year 2023-2024; 

Considered that the elections held on June 20th, 2024, as shown in the report (prot. n. 3648 of 
June 24th, 2024), did not meet the quorum (147 valid votes) required for the validity of the 
elections; 

Having regard to report prot. n. 3648 of June 24th, 2024 which states that ‘this report is hereby 
forwarded to the Director for the re-call of the election procedure’; 

Given the necessity to provide for new elections to recreate the Students’ Council; 

 

DECREES 

 

to call the elections for the constitution of the Students' Council of the Conservatorio di Musica di 
Vicenza “Arrigo Pedrollo” for the three-year academic period 2024-2027, also valid for the 
remaining months of the current academic year. 

 

Nominations must be sent from your institutional email address to the Protocol Office, 
protocollo@consvi.it, by 1 p.m. on January 26th, 2025. 

Election campaign may take place from the day following the publication of the nominations. 

Campaign materials may be posted in the common areas dedicated to institutional communications 
or sent to segreteriadirezione@consvi.it for dissemination. 

Any meetings requested by Candidates shall be previously agreed with the Director, for the 
provision of facilities. Election campaign meetings are also allowed on GMeet platform, when 
arranged by the Candidates in compliance with the rules of the Regolamento Generale. 


All forms of campaigning must end at least 24 hours before the start of voting. 

 

Voting operations will take place from February 17th, 2025 to February 21st, 2025 from 9 a.m. 
to 5 p.m. and on February 22nd, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the entrance hall of the 
Conservatorio di Musica di Vicenza ‘Arrigo Pedrollo’. 

 

The ballot will take place on February 24th, 2025 by the Election Commission, which will meet in 
presence, to assure the validity and results of the vote. 

 

Here are the requirements for electors and candidates: 

• Electors must be enrolled at the Conservatorio, must be at least 18 years old and up to date 
with tuition fees payment. 
• The list of the voters will be posted on the online official noticeboard at least fifteen days 
before the date of the election. 
• Any undue inclusions or exclusions shall be reported to the Administrative Director up to 
five days before the election dates. The Administrative Director will examine the reports and 
eventually revise the voters list. 


 

Students enrolled at the Conservatorio can present themselves as candidates when: 

a) Have reached the age of 18; 

b) Are up to date with the payment of tuition fees; 

c) Have not been convicted of any criminal offence; 

d) Have not been disciplined in the last two years 

 

Candidates must meet the requirements at the time of application. 

The requirements must be confirmed when filling in the candidature application form, checks will 
be carried out by the Election Commission. 

 

Please refer to the Regolamento Generale for causes of incompatibility. 

 

As stated in article 38 of the Regolamento Generale, the vote is only valid if at least half plus one of 
the elegible voters participate. 

The provisional results are immediately published on the official noticeboard of the institutional 
website. 

Any voter may appeal to the Election Commission within 48 hours of the publication of the election 
results. In the event of any contestation against the decisions of the Election Commission or against 
the results, an appeal may be submitted to the Director within 48 hours of the communication 
received from the Election Commission. 

The Electoral Commission will be designated after the submission of candidatures.
